Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Hindi language and literature within the IB MYP framework.
- Support and guide students in their individual learning personal development and academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary units aligning with the IB MYP framework.
- Assess students progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning and development.
- Participate in and contribute to the schools extracurricular and pastoral care programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in IB MYP education and language teaching.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters cultural understanding and respect.
- Communicate effectively with students parents and colleagues regarding students progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in IB MYP curriculum and assessment development activities.
- Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technology to enhance the learning experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field.
- IB MYP certification or willingness to obtain certification.
- Proven experience teaching Hindi language and literature in an IB MYP or similar program.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Hindi language.
- Strong knowledge of the IB MYP curriculum and assessment principles.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
