The Role
The school is seeking a passionate and experienced IB MYP English Language and Literature Teacher to join its dynamic faculty. This role involves delivering engaging and inquirybased English Language and Literature lessons that inspire students to think critically and develop strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging studentcentered English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP).
- Foster critical thinking creativity and a love for literature through interactive and inquirybased teaching methods.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of an international student body.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing meaningful feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning.
- Contribute to the schools vibrant learning community through extracurricular activities mentoring or school events.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in English Literature Education or a related field (Masters preferred).
- Teaching qualification (PGCE B.Ed. State License or equivalent)
- Qualified for a minimum of 2 5 years
- International Teaching Experience
- Experience teaching IB or a strong background in inquirybased learning.
- A passion for international education and studentcentered learning.
- Ability to inspire motivate and challenge students in an engaging learning environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
