Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver effective mathematics lessons following the IB PYP framework
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs
- Design and implement assessments to evaluate students mathematical proficiency
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate mathematics with other subjects
- Support students in developing critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching practices
- Contribute to curriculum planning and enhancement
- Utilize technology to enhance mathematics instruction
- Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education Mathematics or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Demonstrated experience in teaching IB PYP Mathematics
- Familiarity with inquirybased learning approaches
- Strong knowledge of IB PYP curriculum and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Experience in studentcentered assessment and data analysis
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Understanding of multicultural education and diverse learning styles
