Overview:
The IBDP Spanish Teacher plays a crucial role in the academic development of students within the AY 202526. This position is essential for delivering highquality Spanish language education and promoting a deep understanding of Hispanic culture within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). The teacher will inspire students to develop their linguistic abilities cultural awareness and critical thinking skills in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and effective Spanish language lessons for IBDP students
- Facilitate learning experiences that foster students proficiency in reading writing speaking and listening in Spanish
- Develop and implement appropriate assessment strategies to evaluate students language skills and cultural knowledge
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Spanish language and Hispanic culture into interdisciplinary units of study
- Offer guidance and support to students in their individual language acquisition and cultural exploration
- Participate in the development and refinement of the Spanish language curriculum aligned with IBDP standards

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Spanish Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification and/or licensure
- Proven experience teaching Spanish at the IBDP level
- Demonstrated fluency in both spoken and written Spanish and English
- Deep understanding of the IBDP Spanish curriculum and assessment criteria
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
