- Spearhead general bookkeeping tasks including meticulous account reconciliation efficient AP/AR management and accurate financial transaction recording
- Take charge of the weekly insurance billing cycle utilizing proprietary systems and navigating external billing provider platforms with expertise
- Demonstrate precision in inputting client service hours days worked and payment amounts for timely and accurate insurance claims processing
- Oversee payroll processing for care staff ensuring prompt and accurate compensation
- Maintain pristine financial records implementing best practices to guarantee data integrity and accessibility
- Collaborate with management to generate insightful financial reports and conduct indepth analysis contributing to strategic decisionmaking
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial processes improving efficiency and accuracy across all bookkeeping and billing functions
- Stay abreast of healthcare billing regulations and insurance requirements ensuring full compliance in all financial operations
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in bookkeeping software with a strong preference for QuickBooks expertise
- Demonstrated experience in financial recordkeeping and account management ideally within a healthcare or serviceoriented setting
- Quick learner with a willingness to master specialized home care billing processes and systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet weekly deadlines
- Selfmotivated individual capable of working independently while contributing to a team environment
- Basic understanding of healthcare insurance billing processes with a eagerness to expand knowledge in this area
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to interact effectively with management and external stakeholders
- Associate s or Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred but equivalent experience will be considered
