Your Mission

As our new Head of Sales for the German market you will lead our sales strategy and execution as we expand our operations in Germany from early 2025. In this highimpact role you will be instrumental in establishing Mercell in the German public procurement market building and managing a sales team and driving growth in a competitive and dynamic environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape our market entry and lead a team that positions Mercells innovative solutions for longterm success in Germany.

    Core Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the sales strategy for the German market in alignment with Mercells overall goals.
    • Build manage and lead a highperforming sales team fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
    • Drive new business growth by proactively engaging with key decisionmakers and stakeholders in the public procurement sector.
    • Establish and nurture longterm client relationships leveraging insights to identify opportunities for upselling and growth.
    • Ensure accurate sales forecasting pipeline management and CRM record maintenance to support datadriven decisionmaking.
    • Stay informed about the German public procurement market and adapt sales strategies to align with industry trends and customer needs.

      Required Qualifications

      • 8 years of experience in sales leadership preferably within the digital sales or technology sector with a proven track record of success.
      • Strong understanding of the public procurement market in Germany or similar B2B markets.
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English.

        Preferred Qualifications

        • Experience scaling sales teams and leading market entry in a competitive industry.
        • Knowledge of highvelocity sales environments and strategies.
        • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multinational team.
        • Proficient time management and organizational skills.


        Start Date: Q1 2025
        Duration: Fulltime
        Workplace Type: Hybrid remote
        Location: Germany
