Position Summary:
As the Head of Marketing your role is pivotal in shaping and executing the companys overall marketing strategy. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to establish and implement effective marketing strategies drive process improvements and provide leadership to the marketing team.
As the Head of Marketing you will be at the forefront of our companys growth strategically positioning our products or services in the market building brand awareness and equity and ultimately driving customer acquisition and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives to drive growth and brand positioning.
Lead mentor and manage the marketing team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and accountability.
Oversee brand development to enhance visibility equity and reputation across all customer touchpoints.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities.
Plan implement and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across digital social and traditional channels.
Develop and oversee the marketing budget ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
Work closely with sales product and executive teams to align marketing initiatives with organizational goals.
Develop strategies to drive customer acquisition retention and loyalty leveraging datadriven insights.
Set KPIs and monitor the effectiveness of marketing activities ensuring continuous improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies incorporating innovative approaches into the marketing strategy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field; a Master s degree is a plus.
Proven experience developing and implementing successful marketing strategies preferably in career development recruitment or tech industries.
Strong team management and leadership abilities with experience building and mentoring highperforming marketing teams.
Ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives and drive longterm growth.
Proficiency in datadriven decisionmaking with the ability to interpret market trends and campaign performance metrics.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools platforms and best practices including SEO SEM content marketing and social media.
Experience in building and managing brand equity particularly in competitive markets.
Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and achieve high ROI on marketing investments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with internal teams clients and external partners.
Indepth understanding of the East African market customer behavior and competitive landscape.
