Lead the brand marketing team incountry to develop insightsbased brand strategies integrated with commercial strategies and develop and execute brand activities that win in the market.
Key roles and responsibilities
Oversee the growth and health of all brands in country
Uses data analysis for insights & articulates brand issues and opportunities
Supports the translation of prioritized opportunities into development of winning 360 integrated
activities leveraging creative platform across touch points
Drive execution of Local Regional and Global brands in line with creative platform through high quality winning activity plans
Ensure activities are delivered measured and evaluated rigorously
Provides clear lines of communication of activities & execution standards to channel & sales
Leads and motivates effective multiagency teams
Project management skills to deliver activation on time & on budget
Owns the smart gate process working together with the Africa Zone Innovation team ensuring
innovations are delivered on time & in full
Owns Product review as part of S&OP
Manage Budget and ZBB process
Builds a passion for brands and their positioning throughout the business
Member of country Mancom team
Profile
Degree in Business Marketing Communication
7 years of marketing experience
Strong leadership qualities
Good conceptual and analytical abilities
Networker and influencer
Financially literate
Ability to handle complex situations under pressure
Clear concise communicator
Reports
Reports to BU Marketing Director (solid) and to Country Director (dotted)
Direct reports (solid line):In country Brand managers In country Connections/Media managers.
