Job Description

Job Title: Accountant

Location Noida
Salary 22K fix

Job Summary:

An accountant manages financial records prepares statements and ensures accurate financial reporting for the organization. The role involves maintaining financial data preparing tax returns conducting audits and supporting the overall financial decisionmaking process.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain the general ledger ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements accounts payable/receivable and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets forecasts and financial projections for the company.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local state and federal tax regulations.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure that financial processes and internal controls are followed and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit Support: Assist in external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends variances and opportunities for cost reduction or improved efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay uptodate on financial regulations tax laws and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Proven experience 1 year as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero) Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and detail in financial records.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret financial data and provide insightful analysis to management.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial information effectively with stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Work Environment:

  • Office setting with potential for hybrid or remote work depending on company policies.
  • Standard business hours with occasional overtime during tax season or yearend reporting.
