Job Description: Accountant
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Accountant to join our team in Kerala. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of the organization by ensuring accuracy in financial reports maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee daytoday accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Monitor budgets financial forecasts and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
- Process tax filings (GST TDS and other statutory compliances) in line with local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial procedures.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management review.
- Collaborate with external auditors for financial audits.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial and organizational information.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- MBA graduates in Finance or CA certification holders are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Indian accounting principles and standards.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with tax laws regulations and filing processes (GST TDS etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality in all financial matters.
