Job Description

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Van Sales Representative who will be responsible for driving direct sales through efficient van distribution. The ideal candidate will visit assigned routes to promote sell and deliver products while maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring proper merchandising and stock management.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution

o Achieve daily weekly and monthly sales targets.

o Deliver and distribute products to customers in assigned routes.

o Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.


Customer Management

o Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.

o Address customer inquiries concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.


Merchandising

o Ensure proper product display and visibility in customer outlets.

o Replenish shelves and maintain agreed planograms.


Inventory Management

o Manage van stock levels accurately and conduct daily inventory reconciliations.

o Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) method is applied to avoid product expiry issues.

Cash Handling & Reporting

o Collect payments and issue receipts for cash and credit transactions.

o Submit daily sales reports including sales volume customer feedback and competitor activity.

Market Intelligence

o Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on pricing promotions and new products.

o Provide suggestions to the management team on potential improvements or new product launches.


Compliance & Safety

o Adhere to company policies especially regarding safety security and vehicle management.

o Maintain the van in good working condition and ensure timely service.
