Overview: Take charge of your military transition with BufferSprings! Join our District Sales Manager Internship track through the DoD SkillBridge Program in partnership with Frito Lay in Portsmouth VA. This unique opportunity allows you to train as a Route Sales Representative (RSR) and develop the skills needed to lead a team of RSRs as a District Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spend time as a Route Sales Representative (RSR) to fully understand the role you will eventually manage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store management while executing sales programs and promotions.
- Lead and coach a team of route sales representatives to meet sales goals and provide outstanding customer service.
- Conduct oneonone meetings with team members to assess performance and provide guidance.
- Develop sales strategies through data analysis and collaboration with the product supply team.
- Collaborate with logistics to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.
Requirements
Eligibility: Open to all transitioning activeduty U.S. service members (officer and enlisted) from any branch with at least 90 days of service remaining. Approval from your unit or command is required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2 years of leadership experience preferably leading frontline teams.
- Strong communication negotiation and followup skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel PowerPoint).
- Valid driver s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically and work flexible hours including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays.

Benefits
Compensation: If you decide to accept a fulltime District Sales Manager role at the end of your internship the compensation range will be $72000 $78000 depending on experience.
