Job Description: Senior Operations Consulting Associate
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and resultsoriented Senior Operations Consulting Associate to join our consulting team. In this role you will lead client engagements focused on improving operational efficiency reducing costs and driving performance optimization. You will manage project workstreams deliver actionable solutions and collaborate closely with clients across diverse industries. As a Senior Associate you will also play a critical role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to the firms growth and thought leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Operational Assessment and Strategy Development:
- Conduct detailed assessments of client operations to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and costsaving opportunities.
- Develop strategies and recommendations to improve workflows enhance productivity and optimize resource allocation.
- Benchmark client operations against industry standards and best practices.
Process Improvement and Implementation:
- Lead process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Agile.
- Design and implement operational frameworks dashboards and KPIs to monitor performance improvements.
- Collaborate with client teams to develop and execute implementation plans ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Project and Workstream Management:
- Manage multiple workstreams within larger consulting engagements ensuring ontime and highquality delivery.
- Coordinate with internal and client stakeholders to maintain alignment and address risks or challenges.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations reports and implementation plans.
Business Development and Thought Leadership:
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals pitches and marketing materials for prospective clients.
- Conduct research to identify emerging trends opportunities and innovations in operations consulting.
- Support the creation of thought leadership materials including white papers and case studies.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Mentor and guide junior consultants providing feedback and supporting their professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and innovative problemsolving.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to refine consulting methodologies and best practices.
Qualifications: Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
Professional Experience:
- 5 7 years of experience in operations consulting supply chain management or related fields.
- Proven expertise in process improvement operational analysis and project management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Agile) and operational frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or operationsfocused software is an advantage.
