Job Description: Senior Operations Consulting Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Senior Operations Consulting Analyst to join our consulting team. In this role you will lead analytical efforts and deliver datadriven insights to improve operational efficiency reduce costs and enhance business performance for clients across diverse industries. As a Senior Analyst you will take ownership of specific workstreams mentor junior team members and play a key role in designing and implementing process improvements.
- Conduct indepth operational assessments to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and cost drivers.
- Analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights into operational performance and resource utilization.
- Develop recommendations and strategies to optimize workflows improve productivity and achieve client objectives.
- Design and implement process improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma or Agile.
- Develop operational frameworks dashboards and performance metrics to track and sustain improvements.
- Collaborate with clients to implement solutions ensuring alignment with business goals and operational feasibility.
- Lead specific workstreams within larger consulting engagements managing timelines deliverables and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to maintain alignment and address risks or challenges.
- Prepare and present findings updates and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.
- Conduct research to benchmark client operations against industry standards and identify best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging trends technologies and methodologies in operations management and process optimization.
- Mentor junior analysts providing guidance on data analysis problemsolving and project execution.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that values continuous learning and innovative thinking.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management Industrial Engineering or a related field (required).
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
- 4 6 years of experience in operations consulting supply chain management or related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement operational analysis and project management.
- Advanced analytical and problemsolving skills with proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma Agile) and operational frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized and detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP systems or operationsfocused software is an advantage.
- Proactive and resultsdriven with a commitment to delivering measurable client impact.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Passionate about operational excellence and driving continuous improvement.
