Job Description
The Senior Accountant position is essential within our corporate headquarters accounting team at a privately held global manufacturing organization located in Cary Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting particularly in analysis and reporting of global production costs as well as financial results from foreign subsidiaries.
This role requires someone who can effectively monitor and review manufacturing efficiencies communicate relevant information to managers and assist in both the monthly close process and various ad hoc projects.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and report on global production costs
- Analyze financial results from foreign subsidiaries
- Monitor and review manufacturing efficiencies and cost drivers
- Assist in the monthly close process
- Help with miscellaneous foreign tax audit and legal issues as they arise
- Undertake various ad hoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on cost analysis
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities both verbal and written
