Job Description

Your mission:
In the area of AR:
- issuing and posting invoices clearing bank statements taking care of customer settlements clearing items on customer accounts
- posting and reconciliation of sales taking place in Makro shops
- clearing of salesrelated accounts (means of payment such as cash credit cards vouchers etc.)
- preparing and confirming balances and reconciliations for general ledger accounts related to the accounts receivable and payable process
- bank reconciliation
- processing and responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
In the area of GA:
- accounting for transactions relating to stocks fixed assets taxes
- calculation and accounting of accrued income and expenses
- calculation and accounting of cost provisions
- calculation and accounting of writedowns
- monitoring and analysis of general ledger accounts including explanation of discrepancies/deviations
- reporting of financial statements in
- accordance with IFRS
- forecast reporting
- reconciliation of group settlements (Intercompany)
- preparing reports for internal use and for external institutions (e.g. audit)
- preparation of tax returns
- analysis and implementation of changes to IFRS.
And also (GA and AR):
- participation in projects related to the improvement of accounting processes
- daytoday work with clients in the provision of topquality services (also in other languages if you know them)
- participation in monthend closing activities
working on a daily basis and improving your skills in SAP and Excel.
