As the Director of Culinary / Executive Chef you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at Sofitel Bahrain ensuring the highest standards of quality innovation and guest satisfaction. Your primary duties will include:
- Developing and implementing creative and visually stunning menus that showcase your culinary expertise and passion for gastronomy
- Mentoring and inspiring a team of talented chefs fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Ensuring the efficient and costeffective management of culinary operations including budgeting inventory control and staff scheduling
- Collaborating with the hotels management team to align the culinary program with the overall brand vision and guest experience
- Representing Sofitel Bahrain at industry events culinary competitions and media engagements to promote the hotels culinary reputation
Qualifications :
We are seeking a culinary visionary with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a senior culinary leadership role within a luxury hotel or resort
- Exceptional knowledge of global cuisine and a demonstrated ability to create innovative visually stunning and delectable dishes
- Strong teambuilding and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a highperforming culinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
- Proven track record of successfully managing culinary operations including budgeting cost control and inventory management
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
