Technical Specialist - Case Management and ERP

Note: Please note this role is part of a Hybrid Work Arrangement and resource(s) will be required to work at a minimum of 23 days per week at 5700 Yonge St.

Must haves:

• 710 years of experience as a Senior Technical Consultant in large (greater than 1000 users) businesses and I&IT transformation project(s).
• Handson experience with Curam
• Handson experience writing Java code and using integration technologies ESB Java/JEE application and web server technologies
• Experience in large scale case management implementations
• Technical expertise to enhance configure customize and integrate case management system with external or related applications
• Experience in conducting requirements elicitation fitgap design and development phases in large C ram or COTS implementations
• Ability to advise and provide technical recommendations on infrastructure data conversion reporting and interfaces

Description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the complete endtoend development of applications and database in both traditional and cloud deployments.
• Provide subject matter expertise and handson engagement for all relevant systems including identifying and creating technical solution designs development and deployment for specified technology.
• Create functional and technical designs for customization extensions and configurations as needed to implement modules workflows and rules.
• Refine and clarify designs during software development and implementation. Code and unit test code and provide subject matter expertise in supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Support deployment in production environments and conduct root cause analysis of production issues.
• Create all functional and technical design documents.

General Skills:

• Experienced and skilled in Curam.
• Experienced in developing JEE solutions including JEE design patterns.
• Experienced in designing and developing Web Services and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated experience in creating and updating technical design specifications to satisfy project requirements.
• Experienced in providing estimations of project delivery based on business requirements.
• Knowledgeable in the specified technology Application Framework and Application Development Framework.
• Experienced in design and development for largescale Information Technology (IT) solutions with a focus on providing guidance to development teams.
• Experienced in Agile development methodologies.
• Proficient in PL/SQL.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Curam V7.
• Experience in using code management tools such as GIT and RTC.
• Experience with Rational tools for software development.
• Proven experience in facilitating discussions negotiations and conflict resolution.
• Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with clients management and teams and to make presentations and report outcomes.
• Experienced in designing developing testing optimizing and supporting complex stored procedures functions triggers and other database objects with the ability to solve complex production issues.

• Provide end to end solution design development and unit testing along with recommendations to achieve business outcomes in alignment with business requirements Cluster reference architecture and Ministry specific objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals and support delivery outcomes
• Develop code following the SA development standards architectural governance principles and design patterns in the development of endtoend solutions
• Experience in design and implementation of REST API integrations and best practices
• Incorporate security requirements into the design understand and comply with OPS security standards and policies

• Prepare work plans with CYSSC Managers report and adjust completion status report issues and risks in a timely manner
• Write technical documentation that supports and thoroughly explains the architecture
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to the team on the work completed
