Job Description

This is a remote position.

Position Summary:

The Marketing and Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing implementing and overseeing the organizations marketing strategies and social media presence. This role plays a key part in enhancing brand awareness driving website traffic and generating leads through creative campaigns engaging content and effective use of digital platforms.



Key Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Manage and grow the organizations social media presence across platforms (e.g. Instagram LinkedIn Facebook Twitter TikTok).
  • Create schedule and publish engaging and relevant content including graphics videos and written posts.
  • Monitor and respond to user engagement inquiries and feedback in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute paid social media campaigns to boost reach and engagement.
  • Track and report social media analytics including follower growth engagement rates and ROI.
  • Stay uptodate with social media trends tools and best practices to optimize performance.

Reviews tracking

  • Establishing systems to contact customers following service delivery to boost positive reviews on sites such as Google Product Review Facebook etc
  • Engage with unhappy customers and work on solutions with the relevant teams

Content Creation and Branding:

  • Write edit and proofread copy for various marketing materials including blog posts website updates and email campaigns.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the organization s brand voice tone and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers videographers and other team members to produce highquality content.

Marketing:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Create and manage campaigns to promote products services or events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and produce marketing collateral (e.g. brochures newsletters presentations).
  • Analyse marketing performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve results.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends target audiences and competitive positioning.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with sales product development and customer support teams to align marketing efforts with organizational goals.



Requirements

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in marketing social media management or a related role.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools including SEO email marketing platforms and analytics software.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong writing editing and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite Buffer).
  • Knowledge of paid advertising platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Google Ads).
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (e.g. Canva Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make datadriven decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.


Performance Metrics:

  • Social media engagement growth (e.g. likes shares comments follower growth).
  • Website traffic and lead generation from marketing efforts.
  • Campaign ROI and conversion rates.
  • Content quality and timeliness.
