Job Description
1. Supervise and coordinate all rigging activities including the movement of heavy equipment
machinery and components within the shipyard.
2. Enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for rigging teams
including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe rigging
practices.
3. Lead and manage a team of riggers providing guidance training and support to ensure optimal
performance and productivity.
4. Oversee the inspection maintenance and repair of rigging equipment such as cranes hoists
slings and shackles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
5. Collaborate with project managers engineers and other stakeholders to develop work plans
schedules and budgets for rigging operations.
6. Ensure that rigging activities meet quality standards and specifications conducting inspections
and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
