Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to clients and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and applications. Your typical day will involve accurately defining client issues and designing effective solutions based on deep product knowledge and exceptional communication skills. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide ongoing support to clients acting as the interface between the client and the system or application. Accurately define client issues and interpret and design effective solutions based on deep product knowledge. Ensure the smooth functioning of systems and applications utilizing exceptional communication skills to keep worldclass systems running. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to resolve complex issues and ensure client satisfaction. Professional & Technical Skills: Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Mainframe Z/OS working knowledge on Mainframe Operations/Batch Scheduling. Strong understanding of system and application support with at least 2 years of experience in the field. Experience working in command centers widely on Mainframes and distributed environments. Preferable experience on CA ESP or hands on experience on any batch Scheduling tools such as CA7 CA JOBTRAC ZEKE TWS OPC and ControlM etc. Experience working on configuration management and version control tools such as ENDEVOR CHANGEMAN PANVALET etc. Experience working on managing and monitoring file transfers data integration tools such as IBM control center Sterling File gateway Connect Direct BSTAT etc. Excellent communication skills with the ability to accurately define client issues and collaborate with crossfunctional teams. Solid grasp of system and application functioning with the ability to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
