Role: Mainframe Developer
Duration: through 5/30/25
Location (specify remote or return to office): Hopkins (Minneapolis) MN 3 days/week onsite no relo candidates at this time

Can you please provide a summary of the project/initiatives which describes what s being done
Will be working on set up and data validation of files on our mainframe to support a system conversion to a new vendor TPG.
What are the top 510 responsibilities for this position (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)
1. Data validation/comparison
2. Work with downstream system groups to transmit and test data files
3. Work with tech team to determine when/how to decommission mainframe files (to meet golive in May 2025 we need to continue to use mainframe files but then postgo live will look at pulling off mainframe and decommissioning )
What skills/technologies are required (please include the number of years of experience required)
Looking for someone with experience in mainframe FOCUS and mainframe COBOL. They should be experienced with IBM JCL and IBM procedures. Need someone to be able to read and interpret code but not write any new programs on the mainframe. Looking for senior level experience and/or can be lesser amt of years of experience if they meet the criteria.
What skills/attributes are preferred (these are a desired not required)
Autosys transmissions file compares using File Manager.
What does the interview process look like
o How many rounds 1 round with panel of 2 interviewers
o Video phone or in person Video and in person (one interview in Person and the other will be on Video)
