Job Description
As a Remote Bookkeeper/Accountant you ll play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of this expanding food and beverage enterprise. You ll leverage your expertise with QuickBooks Online and cuttingedge AI accounting tools to streamline processes generate insightful financial reports and support datadriven decisionmaking. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a business at the forefront of the smoothie and coffee shop industry balancing traditional retail operations with innovative event services. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online and AIpowered accounting platforms
- Perform comprehensive expense and revenue accounting across multiple business streams
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
- Generate weekly profit and loss statements to track business performance
- Prepare detailed cash flow statements and expense reports for management review
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
- Implement and optimize accounting procedures to enhance efficiency
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisionmaking
- Collaborate with the business owner to align financial practices with growth objectives
Requirements
- 23 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferably in the food and beverage sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with AIpowered accounting tools
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial recordkeeping
- Excellent time management abilities and proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Adaptability to work with both retail and eventbased business models
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French is a plus
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining clear communication
- Passion for contributing to a growing business in the food and beverage industry
- Willingness to adapt to new technologies and accounting practices
