Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join our team of managed services consultants. The primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS) applications across various modules and clientspecific customizations. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle EBS support and development focusing on ensuring system stability and driving continuous process improvements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements develop technical solutions and manage changes all while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support: Provide daytoday support for Oracle EBS applications ensuring system stability resolving incidents within defined SLAs and addressing clientspecific customizations.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks and assist in the development of technical specifications ensuring they align with business requirements and best practices.
Development Support: Offer handson technical and development support for implemented ERP modules including Financials Supply Chain Order Management Inventory and Discrete Manufacturing (WIP & BOM).
Process Improvements: Identify and implement process improvements that deliver tangible business benefits translating them into Value Level Agreements.
Business Requirements & Change Management: Gather and document business requirements for IT incidents and change requests ensuring timely and accurate delivery of changes.
System Design Lifecycle: Provide technical analysis design testing implementation and postimplementation support using software design lifecycle techniques (AIMS/OUM).
Incident Management: Manage and update incidents in a timely manner ensuring highquality data and compliance with internal processes.
Fusion Reporting & OIC Support: Support Fusion Reporting and OIC interfaces as needed offering expertise to handle interface issues and enhancements.
Key Requirements:
Experience: 6 years of experience in Oracle EBusiness Suite support.
Oracle EBS Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Oracle R11i/12 with functional expertise in core modules like Financials Supply Chain Order Management Inventory and Discrete Manufacturing.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Oracle development tools including:
SQL PL/SQL
Unix Scripting
XML Publisher
JDeveloper
Oracle Reports/Forms
Oracle Workflow
Oracle BI Publisher
Web Adi
AME
Java Core Skills
Optional Skills: Experience in OAF APEX OBIEE/OBIA would be an advantage.
System Administration: Knowledge of Oracle EBS system administration multiOrg architecture and online patching.
Customization Support: Ability to troubleshoot and support complex system customizations.
ITIL Knowledge: Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices in incident and change management.
Process Documentation: Proficiency in documenting and managing technical specifications business processes and changes.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
Adaptability: Willingness to work in areas beyond prior experience and the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Oracle EBusiness Suite or related technical certifications.
Experience with Fusion Reporting and OIC interfaces is a plus.
Familiarity with Oracle APEX OAF and OBIEE/OBIA.
