Position : Sales Head
Location : Nairobi Kenya
Job Description :
- Managed sales for a big animal feeds company
- Must have experience of handling animal feeds for minimum 1012 years)
- Must have experience of driving the sales strategy market penetration and revenue growth for an animal feeds division.
- Set performance targets conduct regular evaluations and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends competitor activities and customer needs.
- Identify potential customers and expand into new market segments to drive sales growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers distributors and other stakeholders.
- Oversee customer service strategies to ensure high levels of satisfaction and longterm loyalty.
- Collaborate with product development marketing and production teams to ensure that products meet market demands.
- Contribute insights to the development of marketing campaigns promotions and branding strategies.
- Track sales performance analyze data and generate regular reports for senior management
- Use insights from sales metrics to refine sales strategies and adjust approaches as needed
Must Have:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Animal Science Veterinary Science or a related field. A masters degree or MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (10 years) in sales and business development ideally within the animal feed agriculture or livestock industries.
- Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
