Role: Social Media Specialist Print & Signage Industry (PartTime)

Job Overview:
We re seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance our digital presence and connect with local businesses in the Illawarra region. This role combines creativity and strategy to build our brand visibility engage with our community and promote our diverse print and signage services across social media platforms. You ll play a key role in crafting and executing engaging social media campaigns managing content calendars and driving audience growth all while measuring performance and optimizing strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a targeted social media strategy to increase engagement and grow followers across key platforms (LinkedIn Instagram Facebook and TikTok).
- Create schedule and publish engaging posts including graphics videos and written content that showcase our print and signage expertise.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content aligns with marketing goals and industry trends.
- Respond to comments messages and mentions in a timely manner fostering meaningful connections with potential clients.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance using analytics tools adjusting strategies to improve reach and engagement.
- Manage and execute email marketing campaigns ensuring alignment with social media content.
- Stay updated on social media trends platform algorithms and print industry innovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management particularly for servicebased or B2B businesses.
- Strong content creation skills including graphics video production and copywriting.
- Familiarity with Facebook Instagram LinkedIn and TikTok along with best practices for each platform.
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools and email marketing platforms (e.g. Brevo or similar).
- Ability to interpret analytics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work independently in a parttime capacity.
- Passion for visual communication and helping local businesses thrive.
- Familiarity with the print and signage industry is a plus but not required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Engagement Rate: Increase engagement by 10% monthly across platforms.
- Follower Growth: Grow followers by set targets (e.g. 200 on Instagram 100 on Facebook and 100 on LinkedIn monthly).
- Post Frequency: Consistently publish 35 posts per week on Instagram/Facebook and 23 posts per week on LinkedIn.
- Email Marketing Metrics: Achieve a minimum 20% open rate and 5% clickthrough rate per email campaign.
- Community Engagement: Respond to 100% of comments/messages within 24 hours.
- Content Reach: Increase content reach within the Illawarra and surrounding areas by 15% through targeted content.
- Monthly Reports: Provide insights and recommendations based on social media and email marketing performance.
