Job Description
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position is based on-site at the Delaware, Ohio manufacturing facility, where you will lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives within the resin operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in EHS compliance, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality tools to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and team actions.
- Foster engagement and development opportunities for team members to enhance capabilities.
- Work closely with the HR Manager to manage the relationship with the union workforce.
- Guide the implementation of the plant s future state roadmap to meet strategic goals.
- Support supply chain activities, including inventory management, logistics, and procurement.
- Communicate effectively with all supporting functions to ensure operational alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry.
- A minimum of 10 years of industrial management experience in resins or chemical manufacturing.
- Lean and Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification (preferred).
- Strong project management skills.
