Job Description
SmartX Advisory Solutions seeks a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our talented motivated team. This role involves building and scaling cuttingedge technology solutions in the financial sector. Were seeking someone with extensive experience in the .NET framework SQL Server containerized application deployment and AWS services. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in C# and Python demonstrated expertise with containerization and serverless workloads in AWS and a focus on creating serverless and scalable architectures. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust C# applications using .NET Core ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs to support diverse client needs.
- Leverage Docker for application containerization focusing on seamless deployment and scalability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements design solutions and deliver critical features.
- Optimize database queries ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage within SQL Server and other technologies.
- Maintain the Vue.js components based on upcoming requirements.
- Architect serverless solutions using AWS services to achieve scalability and costefficiency.
- Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning standups and retrospectives.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices enhancing code quality across the team.
- Provide regular project updates communicating progress challenges and solutions to stakeholders.
Success Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years of professional software development experience in C# and the .NET Framework.
- 4 years of experience with relational databases with a preference for SQL Server expertise.
- 3 years in AWS services focusing on cloudnative and scalable applications.
- 3 years in developing containerized or cloudnative applications.
- Demonstrable experience building and managing open APIs.
- Skills
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core.
- Python development experience.
- Strong knowledge of web services and RESTful interfaces.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience in designing and deploying cloudbased applications.
- Vue 3 competency.
- Ability to simplify complex technical challenges into practical solutions.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and Terraform for deployment automation.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a small fastpaced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced experience with Docker including container orchestration and management.
- AWS certifications with handson experience in application deployment and management in AWS.
- Experience leading Agile or Scrum teams promoting collaboration and driving results.
- Proven ability to architect scalable solutions from the ground up.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular enabling fullstack development.
