Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to oversee the facility management operations for our international firm in Cairo Egypt. As the Operations Director you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the performance of our facilities ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all operational activities to ensure effective service delivery in line with client expectations and company standards.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that improve service quality efficiency and profitability.
- Coordinate with project managers and department heads to ensure smooth execution of facility management services.
- Monitor operational performance through KPIs and regularly report on project outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Manage and optimize resources including staff equipment and materials ensuring costeffective operations.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations across all projects and facilities.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Director to align operational capacity with commercial goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on operational efficiency customer satisfaction and risk management.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients addressing any operational concerns promptly.
- Mentor and develop operations teams ensuring high levels of performance and staff retention
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering. (Masters preferred).
- 10 years of experience in an operations management role in the facility management industry is a must
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
- Professional certifications in Facility Management such as (CFM FMP SFP PMP)
- Knowledge of operational standards and best practices in facility management.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Experience with resource management and budget control.
- Strong understanding of HSE (Health Safety and Environment) standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
