What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing looking for someone who builds business by identifying and prospecting the opportunities; and maintaining relationships with clients. Fill the sales funnel with leads and identify them with solid business cases. Prospects and evaluates the business in the market to increase the hotel share; researching and analyzing sales options that are aligned with the hotel sales strategy. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for achieving hotel targets by optimizing revenues through the deployment accounts as well as prospecting new business through the source markets assigned. The key measurement of performance will be performance versus the revenue goals
- Securing revenue for different revenue streams Rooms Meetings & Events and F&B.
- SMART contracting to ensure optimum yielding during annual rate negotiations
- Team player to enhance the current sales effort by providing administrative support and valueadd
- Individual who has a passion for generating leads and increasing the conversation to sales consistently arranging meetings & calls with customers Average of 4 meetings a day as minimal customer engagement
- Manage corporate accounts strengthen business relationships and analyze the accounts production reports
- Accounts action plan for short & long term to develop his/her deployed accounts list
- Proactively share market intelligence and account insights
- Work effectively with key stakeholders within Rooms Revenue F&B Banquet and Marketing Departments
- Manage clear concise written and verbal communication with customers and colleagues
- Customer engagement events to saturate the account and meet with more key contact
Qualifications :
Your experience and skills include:
- 2year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration Marketing Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major; 3 years experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area
- Two (2) years experience in a Sales position preferably in a global hotel chain
- Local market experience is mandatory. GCC market knowledge is preferred
- Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment
- Confident personality with leadership skills with good presentation skills
- English excellent oral and written skills
- Computer literacy adapted to the field of Sales: strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
- Selfmotivated personality and a great team player who supports the team members and coaches them with previous experience
