Job Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the endtoend software development and support for all work transitioned from Group (which could be projects quarterly change requests L3 production fixes). This includes analysis and design to development implementation testing and support and you will be expected to manage production problems and incidents.
You will also be responsible for quality assurance of the team delivery in conformance to the Bankdefined software delivery methodology and tools. You will partner closely with the Group domain team to plan and manage transitioned deliverables.
Other Responsibilities:
- Act as the focal point of contact for technical resolutions while managing the incident problem and knowledge management processes for the applications in scope
- Provide comprehensive support to internal customers; achieve resolution to outstanding problems or issues
- Manage 3rd party product vendors and integration partners to ensure application code fix deliveries are timely and good quality
- Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators
- Test maintain and recommend software improvements to ensure strong functionality and optimization
- Work with production support team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
- Work with business stakeholders to manage and prioritize the overall book of work in terms of problem remediation
- Contribute to improvement initiatives relating to methods tools people architecture project management and governance
JobRequirements:
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or similar domain
- At least 6 years experience in relevant Banking / Information Technology
- Proficient in IBM AS400 platform RPG COBOL CL programming
- Knowledge of Silverlakes banking software suite will be added advantage
- Wellversed in service management/production support
