Head Pastry Chef Michelin Starred Restaurant
We are seeking a creative and talented Head Pastry Chef to join our Michelinstarred culinary team at Wild Honey a renowned restaurant within the luxurious Sofitel London St James. In this leadership role you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry kitchen ensuring the creation of refined desserts and baked goods that align with our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the pastry team in crafting innovative seasonal desserts and pastries that elevate our guests dining experiences.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of highquality dishes paying close attention to taste texture and presentation.
- Manage and train pastry chefs fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Oversee the selection of premium ingredients and maintain inventory control.
- Work closely with the executive chef and culinary team to develop and refine the dessert menu.
- Maintain strict hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen complying with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Senior Pastry Chef in a fine dining restaurant with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong expertise in pastry techniques dessert creation and presentation.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- A passion for innovation with a keen eye for detail and precision.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team contributing to a positive kitchen environment.
