Position Summary
Seeking a talented and passionate Commis Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of highquality dishes maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food to the highest standards.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency in dishes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Support senior chefs in the daily operations of the kitchen.
- Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in menu planning and development as necessary.
- Assist with the training of new kitchen staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
Essential Qualifications
- Basic culinary skills with a good understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Minimum qualification: Level 2 Food Safety Certification (or equivalent).
Desired Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen setting is preferred.
- Experience working in a highvolume restaurant or hotel environment is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Salary & Benefits
