This position is responsible to ensures a clean and safe environment in the kitchen by cleaning dishes cooking utensils equipment etc.
- Work with Culinary and Food and Beverage Service Team to support the departments through plate ups movement of equipment cleanliness and hygiene of work area dishwashing pot washing and other F&B equipment
- Conducts deep cleaning according to protocols
- Cleans and stores pots pans trays worktables and other equipment used by the Chefs
- Clean and wash stoves ovens and grills grill hoods tilt kettles refrigerators using cleaning solutions & washcloths
- Sanitize sweep and mop kitchen floors
- Separates customer dishes and utensils according to standard operating procedures
- Accounts for any utensils dishes decorations and equipment used during events
- Responsible for storing chemicals and cleaning products
- Carry out the duties as specified on the daily/weekly/monthly task lists of the kitchen area
Qualifications :
- 01 year experience as kitchen attendant/steward; previous experience is highly preferred
- Physically fit and can lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of mixing food safety chemicals is an added advantage
