Job Description
General Manager Food Retail Business
Our client is a growing food retail business based in Makassar South Sulawesi. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the entire business strategy operations and profitability. This role is pivotal in driving growth optimizing operational performance and managing the company's P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the company’s growth and profitability goals.
- Oversee all aspects of the company's operations including sales marketing supply chain and finance.
- Ensure the efficient operation of retail outlets maintaining high standards of quality customer service and compliance.
- Manage the company’s P&L making informed decisions to maximize profitability and control costs.
- Lead crossfunctional teams providing mentorship and driving a performancefocused culture.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness in the food retail sector.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop new product offerings and enhance business operations.
- Monitor and manage key operational metrics to ensure the business is running efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements health and safety standards.
- Build strong relationships with vendors suppliers and other business partners to enhance the company's supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1015 years of experience in general management or CEO roles with a strong background in F&B food manufacturing or retail business.
- Proven experience in managing P&L and driving business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration Management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership strategic thinking and decisionmaking skills.
- Strong understanding of the Makassar and South Sulawesi market.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
