Supply Chain Manager – Retail Company in Gorontalo
Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Location: Gorontalo Indonesia
Reporting to: CEO
About the Role:
A leading retail company in Gorontalo Indonesia is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance their supply chain and procurement operations. This critical role ensures the efficient flow of goods cost optimization and adherence to highquality standards supporting the company's retail and distribution objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with business goals to improve operational performance.
- Procurement Leadership: Manage procurement activities to secure highquality goods and services under favorable terms. Create sourcing strategies negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with vendors.
- Inventory & Logistics Control: Oversee all aspects of supply chain operations including purchasing warehousing distribution and inventory management ensuring stock optimization and timely delivery.
- Supplier Partnership: Establish and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply and effectively address disruptions.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline supply chain operations and reduce costs.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales operations and finance teams to align supply chain functions with organizational needs and address operational challenges.
- Leadership Development: Guide and mentor a team of supply chain professionals fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 8 years in supply chain and procurement management ideally in retail distribution or consumer goods sectors.
- Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with the North Sulawesi Gorontalo or Sulawesi markets is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership analytical and negotiation skills with a track record of optimizing supply chain operations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related discipline.
