Reporting to the Commercial Director key responsibilities include:
- Stay informed on market trends maintain a library of sales resources and conduct ongoing market research
- Promote and solicit business through sales trips community networking and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Oversee internal promotions ensuring all marketing materials are uptodate and aligned with management standards
- Coordinate with Front Office and Housekeeping Departments to manage room reservations and customer inquiries
- Develop and execute direct mail campaigns in conjunction with the Public Relations Department to promote hotel facilities and events
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Train and mentor junior sales team members providing guidance on sales techniques and customer relationship management
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular reports for the Commercial Director highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing strategies and maximize occupancy rates
- Represent the hotel at industry events trade shows and conferences to expand the propertys network and generate new business opportunities
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Sales Manager position must possess the following qualifications:

- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role at an 5 stars international chain hotel
- Higher Diploma or Bachelors Degree from a reputable Hotel Management or Business School
