Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Program Manager for a sixmonth contract with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have handson experience implementing and administering Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence from scratch for multiple teams. This role involves managing the tools aligning them with Agile methodologies and working closely with teams to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Atlassian Tool Administration:
- Manage configure and maintain Jira Confluence and other Atlassian products to support the needs of various teams.
- Implement Atlassian products from scratch customizing tools to optimize team workflows.
- Program Management:
- Lead the implementation and integration of Atlassian tools across multiple teams.
- Design and configure workflows project settings and reporting to align with Agile practices.
- Provide ongoing support troubleshooting and best practices guidance for tool administration.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with program managers team leads and stakeholders to ensure successful tool adoption.
- Train and mentor team members in the effective use of Jira and Confluence.
- Act as the primary point of contact for toolrelated issues and solutions within the program.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience managing and configuring Atlassian products especially Jira and Confluence.
- Proven experience in implementing Atlassian tools from scratch for teams or multiple teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
- Experience with software development life cycles and Agile practices.
- Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills for working with various teams and stakeholders.
- Bonus: Atlassian certifications such as ACP600 (Project Administration in Jira) or ACP620 (Managing Jira Projects for Cloud).
- Work Schedule:
- The role requires 3 days a week onsite at the customer office in Suwanee GA with a potential reduction to 2 days a week after the first three months.
