About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Dental Insurance Verification Specialist to join our team and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our insurance verification processes. The ideal candidate will be detailoriented able to work independently and experienced in insurance verification and healthcare administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients ensuring all data is accurate and uptodate
- Obtain authorizations and precertifications as required by insurance companies
- Handle insurancerelated inquiries from clients and provide thorough and accurate information
- Work closely with billing teams to resolve any insurance discrepancies or issues
- Maintain detailed records of insurance verification activities and update systems as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental insurance verification
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance policies medical terminology and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with healthcare software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
