Job Objective:
The Warehouse and Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing and optimizing warehouse operations and logistics operations.
The position is responsible for supervising the receiving warehousing distribution and managing all inventory related functions including inventory accuracy and data integrity of all the monitoring files ensuring all deliverables are met within the expected time.
The position is responsible for the efficient delivery of products to end customers ensuring least costs and on time and in full deliveries to customers and sales clusters (drop off points) / satellite warehouses.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Inbound:
- Issues ASN (Advance Shipping Notice) report for every inbound delivery
- Issues ATW (Authority to withdraw) to shipping line for containers intended for BASCo
- Coordinates with Procurement team for all deliveries from merchants
- Updates the KIU system
- Oversee the unloading in every delivery
Outbound:
- Reviews and approves booking from Sales Team
- Performs systems transactions and ensures availability & completeness of documents required in the dispatch of goods
System Management manages the following reports;
- Delivery Confirmation (outbound)
- PO Receiving (inbound)
- Product Master Data
- Misc Issuance / Receipts (Inventory Adjustments)
Inventory and Planning Management:
- Oversee inventory and replenish additional stocks when needed
- Manages stocks inventory in remote CY.
- Lead monthly inventory count
- Maintains count accuracy (systems vs. physical)
- Manages stocks monthly recon
- Provides inventory control reports as required
Billing and Endorsement:
- Review and endorse billings coming from supplier
- Provides monthly accruals report
Other Tasks:
- Provides monthly KPI report
- Act as a point person for BASCo warehouse supervise 3rd party personnel oversee inventory movement as well as the personnel assigned ensuring daily inventory and other related instructions are being attended
- Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse facilities to ensure the proper housekeeping and safekeeping of finished goods in compliance to safety and food industry standards set by the GWP HACCP & GMP programs
- Provide immediate feedback on complaints related item and quantity discrepancies
- Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement safety & security sustainability corporate social responsibility risk management etc;
- Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior
Qualifications :
Education: A graduate of any four year course preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or relevant experience in the field.
Experience: At least two (2) years experience in related work
