New Bookkeeper

This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a diverse client portfolio across various industries.

.

Utilise various accounting addons such as Dext Hubdoc and Point of Sales systems.

.

Perform bank reconciliations manage accounts payable and receivable.

.

Process payroll for clients.

.

Prepare BAS & IAS and liaise with clients the Managing Director and the team.

.

Conduct monthend and yearend processing including reconciliations and data entry for required journals.

.

Assist in preparing financial reports and information for Accountants on a monthly and quarterly basis.

.

Provide adhoc analysis and support to the Managing Director and Business Development Manager as needed.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

.

Proven experience in virtual bookkeeping and accounting roles in Australia

.

Must have excellent knowledge of Xero.

.

Must have minimum 3 years of experience working with Australian clients.

.

Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

.

Proficiency in MS Office including Word Excel and Outlook.

.

Ability to learn new systems quickly and procedures.

.

Strong multitasking and problemsolving skills.

.

Selfmotivated reliable and trustworthy.

.

Experience working in a bookkeeping or accounting firm is highly advantageous.

.

Desirable: Good working knowledge of accounting programs MYOB and QuickBooks.

.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

.

Strong attention to detail and alertness.
