Production Manager Multinational Chemical Company
Our client is a multinational chemical company based in Cikarang Jawa Barat. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process in a chemical manufacturing facility. This role includes ensuring optimal production efficiency quality control safety compliance and team management. The Production Manager will drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan organize and supervise all production activities to meet established targets for output and quality.
- Monitor production schedules ensuring adherence to timelines and efficient use of resources.
- Support all “Plant Manager” activities especially related to the production department and take over responsibility if the Plant Manager is not present related to the production department.
- Conducting of planning briefing controlling and supervision in the production department in order to achieve optimal production targets and quality product.
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Conducting of Evaluation related to the cost of production of raw materials energy packaging equipment etc.
- Lead train and develop production staff fostering a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Coordinate the improvement and development of production team competency to achieve the multiskill level to support production optimization.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the production department.
- Lead initiatives for lean manufacturing and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with other departments including quality assurance maintenance and supply chain to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics efficiency and quality to management.
- Analyze data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding production processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum graduated S1 Chemical Engineering and have strong knowledge and experiences related to the production process.
- Have at least 10 years experiences in the Chemical plants with minimum position of 3 years at the supervisory level.
- Good communication skills and fluent English.
- Advanced knowledge of ESHQ and capability to handle relevant instruments and equipment accordingly
- Management skills and deep understanding of the business impact from production.
