About the Company:

Founded by exGoogle exMcKinsey and CTO of one of the largest US based FinTech Kiva our client is a B2B Buy Now Pay Later platform for FMCG merchants working in partnership with large FMCGs. In little over a year The company signed up partnerships with all major brands including Unilever Nestle Coca Cola Danone and other large FMCGs and has almost 250K merchants in the network in Indonesia alone. Our client operates in Indonesia with backing from Michael Sampoerna ADB East Venture and other local banks and is leading women empowerment and poverty reduction with over 70% of our client beneficiaries are unbanked women merchants.

We are a pioneering company dedicated to providing loan solutions to small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs) and connecting them with banking institutions that offer the necessary financial support for their business needs. Our primary customers are SMEs in the fastmoving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. As we continue to grow and expand we are looking for a seasoned Senior HR Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The Senior HR Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our human resources strategies and policies ensuring we attract retain and develop top talent. This individual will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of HR activities including recruitment termination employee relations and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years as an HR Manager in a Series A startup.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
    • Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to interviewing and hiring.
    • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees providing necessary training and resources.
  2. Employee Relations:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee concerns providing guidance and support.
    • Implement strategies to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  3. Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate employee performance.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performancerelated issues.
    • Conduct performance reviews and develop improvement plans when necessary.
  4. Disciplinary Actions and Terminations:

    • Manage the disciplinary process ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
    • Handle terminations with professionalism and sensitivity.
    • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  5. HR Strategy and Policy Development:

    • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the companys goals and objectives.
    • Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  6. Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee ss and knowledge.
    • Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager in at least a Series A startup.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles practices and legal requirements.
  • Proven experience in recruitment employee relations performance management and disciplinary actions.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership ss.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
