Job Description
Education and qualifications:
Required:
- Graduate in Medicine
Desired:
- Knowledge of Spanish and other European languages and highly valuable Portuguese.
Experience and knowledge:
Required:
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position in a scientific environment
- Selfmotivated proactive and resultsoriented.
- Excellent teamwork ss with good interpersonal written and oral communication ss.
- Respect to other cultures and beliefs.
- Knowledge of database ysis software
Desired:
- Previous experience in a developing country.
- Proven experience in writing successful proposals for EC funded programmes.
- Able to perform in multicultural environments (sometimes under time pressure) and to deliver results in a demanding and fastpaced environment that requires meeting set deadlines.
- Fresh thinking and innovationfriendly spirit.
- Selfdriven responsible and able to take ownership of projects and duties
- Solid ytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Social ss in order to help in liaising between local partners and the research group for the daily running of the projects
- Attentive to detail.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Coordinate/Manage the on field part of research projects
- Provide support to the istance activities of a rural African hospital
- Collaborate with local and national authorities to ensure the consecution of the ongoing projects
Labour conditions:
- Fulltime position 40h/week.
- Based on Cubal Angola rural municipality in Benguela province
- Starting date: Immediate
- Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and ss. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities (oneyear project)
