We are looking for aPhotonics & Quantum Techs Researcher for supporting cuttingedge research on photonics and optoelectronics applied to sensing applications
Tasks to be performed:
Collaborate with senior engineers and researchers to design and prototype photonic systems.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate optical components with electronic and software systems
Design build and optimize experimental setups for optical and photonics sensing applications.
Develop novel techniques and methodologies to enhance the sensitivity and reliability of photonic sensors.
Conduct simulations and modeling to optimize the performance of photonic components.
Document research findings experimental procedures and design specifications.
Required skills experience and candidate profile:
Ph.D. in Physics Electrical Engineering or related field or M.Sc with at least two years of relevant experience.
Minimum 2 year experience in a similar position.
Strong background in photonics and optoelectronic instrumentation.
Experience in designing and building experimental setups for laser sensing applications involving freespace optics and optoelectronic instrumentation.
Programming skills in languages like Python MATLAB or similar for data analysis and simulation.
Proven expertise in experimental photonic sensors (experience in quantum sensing experiments using NV centers is highly valued).
Curiosity and bold attitude to venturing into novel R&D domains and embracing stateoftheart technologies.
