We are seeking a strategic and experienced Public Policy Manager to oversee and manage the companys public policy initiatives related to the financial technology (fintech lending) sector. The role requires strong ytical ss the ability to engage with government stakeholders and industry organizations and a deep understanding of policy advocacy. You will work crossfunctionally with teams across the company to address critical public policy issues with a focus on data protection security and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Policy & Regulatory Monitoring:
Continuously monitor the political and regulatory landscape in Indonesia particularly concerning fintech lending. Identify and evaluate the impact of legislative regulatory and industry developments on the company highlighting risks and opportunities. -
Policy Advocacy & Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive advocacy strategies across all current and emerging policy issues that could impact the business. Lead efforts to shape policy in the companys favor ensuring alignment with business goals. -
Stakeholder Engagement:
Engage with policymakers nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) industry ociations and private sector organizations on key fintech lending issues such as data protection fraud prevention security and other relevant public policy concerns. -
Policy Recommendations & Briefs:
Prepare policy recommendations and policy briefs/memos for company leadership ensuring they are wellinformed on critical issues that may impact business operations. -
Representation & Advocacy:
Represent the company in highlevel meetings public events and discussions with policymakers and multistakeholders. Advocate for the companys interests and build relationships to support its public policy objectives. -
Policy Development:
ist in the development and management of internal policies on specific issues or product areas ensuring they align with external regulatory requirements and the broader business strategy. -
External Communications & Consultation:
Prepare responses to inquiries and consultations from external stakeholders on relevant public policy issues. Provide clarity and guidance on complex regulatory matters affecting the company. -
Data & Economic ysis:
Apply strong ytical thinking to evaluate economic data and ess its impact on public policy and regulatory issues. Contribute to economic and impact essment reports that support the companys advocacy efforts. -
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
Work closely with product legal compliance marketing communications and government relations teams to ensure a cohesive approach to addressing public policy issues across the company.
Qualifications:

Public Policy Expertise:
Minimum of 67 years of experience in public policy within the tech sector with proven experience leading endtoend policy advocacy efforts. -
Government & Stakeholder Engagement:
Experience in engaging government stakeholders industry ociations and other key players to influence and navigate the policy landscape. -
Private Sector Experience:
Experience working with or for private sector companies demonstrating an ability to align public policy strategies with commercial objectives. -
Advocacy & Think Tank Experience:
A background in academic research or think tank organizations along with specific experience in the fintech sector is highly advantageous. -
Independent Contributor:
Strong ability to work independently managing multiple public policy issues simultaneously and driving forward advocacy initiatives with minimal supervision. -

Excellent ytical and problemsolving ss with the ability to synthesize complex information and data to inform decisionmaking and policy development.
