Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Managing and Taking Care of Testing Vertical Work with Testing Centre of Excellence Team (TCOE). Managing Day To Day activities of Testing and Automation testing of IT Software Systems across the Bank
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work and manage Testing Centre of Excellence Team (TCOE).
Effort estimation for testing projects
Prepare Test Plan that outlines the scope objectives for the project.
Understand the application under test allocation of work and responsibility among test engineers and approve the efforts.
Prepare test strategy document and get sign off.
Lead and Manage a team of testers assigning tasks setting goals and ensuring the team s productivity and performance.
Project Coordination/Monitor Test .
Review Business Scenarios and Highlevel test conditions.
Prepare Defect Analysis Report.
Prepare Status reports and MIS reports and present to the Management.
Prepare Test Closure Report.
Update daily activities In Daily Status Report.
Ensuring that the correct status of the testing for the day is communicated.
Responsible for project closure activities.
Ensure that the test environment is set up and maintained to support testing activities.
Ensure that the testing process aligns with quality assurance standards and best practices. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Should have passed B.E./B. TECH in any stream OR MCA OR M.Sc. (IT) or from any recognized College/University duly approved by AICTE. Should have passed ITSQB Foundation Level / CSQA or its equivalent.
RELEVANT JOB EXPERIENCE
10 to 12 Years
6 Years of Experience as a Test Lead.
Sound knowledge of Banking Domain and Technology.
Hands on experience on automated testing and stress testing setup and running.
Experience in test automation scripting.
Experience in testing management tools.
Experience in Agile Methodology process.
