Overall Job Responsibilities
- Oversees the analysis of gaming trends staff productivity and resource allocation and uses these results to accurately forecast staff needed to meet business requirements.
- Conversant with local labor laws and company policies as apply to the scheduling environment.
- Spearheads the preparation and distribution of daily schedules and work assignments for the Table Games department using company scheduling software applications.
- Works with different departments in the cascade of schedules and the resolution of conflicts as may be necessary.
Functional Job Responsibilities:
Roster Management
- Strategize plan and deliver Scheduling / Labor Management solutions for the Company.
- Prepares and processes all relevant paperwork and administrative requirements accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise and communicate extensively and in a timely manner with the Department Heads to ensure all required duties are completed.
- Oversee daily operations of the Scheduling Department where effective management and critical thinking skills are applied to meet changes in business requirements. Proactive in identifying any shortfalls or anomalies in rosters.
- Must act in accordance with and administer established policies and procedures appropriately.
- Oversee the system maintenance and configuration to ensure the effectiveness of scheduling application software.
- Provide coaching guidance and development opportunities to direct reports ensuring performance and succession requirements are accomplished by identifying training opportunities through observation and timely constructive performance feedback.
- Ensure effective performance management of the Scheduling Team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- At least five (5) years of experience in Scheduling or Workforce Management with three (3) years of managerial experience working in an Integrated Resort.
- Experience in workforce management processes.
- Expert in using the workforce management system.
