Our client is a leading conglomerate looking to hire a Plant HR Manager for their manufacturing plant in Angola Africa.
As the Plant HR Manager you will be responsible for providing complete HR leadership to the plant. Managing the HR General Administration; Safety Health and (iv) SecurityVigilance functions in the Greenfield project and framed policies in these functional areas. Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations manage employee relations and oversee the entire employee lifecycle at the plant.
Responsibilities
You will play a crucial role in setting up HR and Admin processes in the factory.
Key member of the plant management team influencing and creating performance culture and a highly engaged workforce.
Drive the agenda to create a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Design and implement right organization structure and recruitment strategy in line with site objectives.
Understand identify and lead the implementation of best practices.
Create a culture of rewards recognition and performance to drive across levels.
Establish and run the training and induction agenda for all employees for startup and stable state operations.
Establish and manage the time office payroll attendance canteen and other admin infrastructure at plant.
Oversee the PRO functioning working closely with plant finance and control team.
Qualifications
KEY SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE
8 years of experience in HR managerial roles.
Worked in a plant setup.
Understands the labour nuances.
Has done strategic and work in previous role.
