- Function: Network Security Engineer

Tasks
- Manage and maintain network and firewall systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement and enforce security protocols across systems.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve technical problems.
- Document system changes and configurations.
- Ensure compliance with IT standards and best practices.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with 5 years or more of experience that has:
- Strong expertise in network protocols
- Indepth understanding of network security principles
- Familiarity with ITIL processes including change management incident management configuration management and availability management
- Proficient in wide area network protocols such as ISDN ADSL and others
Technical Environment Tools and Products:
- Expertise in administering Fortinet firewall systems including content inspection firewall statistics and associated security tools
- Proficiency in managing CISCO firewall systems with experience in content inspection and security tools
- Extensive experience with operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux
- Strong skills in network management monitoring and debugging tools
- Knowledgeable in PKI infrastructure
- Proficient in dialin systems with authentication and encryption
- Experienced in Intrusion Detection Systems specifically FirePower Threat Defense (FTD)
- Familiarity with proxy servers
- Basic understanding of application layer XML filters
Additionally you also need to have
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- EU Secret Security Clearance (Mandatory)
Regarding education and certifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science Electronics Telecommunications or a related field
- CCNA Cyber Ops certification
- CCT Routing & Switching certification
- Additional certifications in technologyrelated domains
